Photography

My adventures in photography began in February 2007, when I borrowed a camera to photograph a vase of flowers.
Of course, being me and incapable of doing anything casually, that innocent venture rapidly turned into trying to take arty macro shots of said flowers, and one thing led to another...

Arty macro shots of flowers continue to be favourite subject of mine. I'm also partial to scenes of a maritime nature (provided I get to stay firmly on land!), and live in hope of eventually getting a decent shot of an owl.

Technical Details

As a general rule, photos dated before late December 2008 were taken with a Canon IXUS 430, and later photos were taken with a Canon EOS 450D and a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
